Manchester Village, VT– The Equinox, A Luxury Collection Golf Resort & Spa, announces the appointment of Mark M. O’Neill as its new general manager effective July 2009. Mark previously served as Vice President of Project Leadership at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he was responsible for overseeing the growth of the Starwood brand and opening 11 Starwood resorts.

During his ten year tenure with Starwood, he served as General Manager for The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Tower and Vice President of Six Sigma. Prior to joining Starwood, O’Neill held the roles of General Manager at Boston Marriott Andover and General Manager at Boston Marriott Westborough.
